Screenwriting Essentials will cover the fundamentals of everything you need to know to get started in screenwriting. From format to dialogue to structure to character, you’ll learn what you need to know to get on your way. Each short, easy-to-digest lesson will end with a quick writing exercise. And at the end of the course, you will have both a basic outline for a feature-length script and the first 10 pages completed.

About the Course Author

Mark Simborg is an experienced, repped screenwriter who recently sold his romantic comedy Ray and Molly After the Apocalypse to a UK-based production company.

Penelope Spheeris ("Wayne's World") is attached to direct his dramedy Finding Yesterday, and his sitcom pilot Sycamore Park is under option to Darius Films.

Mark has always lived outside of LA and proudly started with zero contacts in the industry.
